The Borella Regional Centre, established on June 5, 1980, as the Northern Colombo Vocational Training Institute, has a long-standing tradition of excellence in technical education. In 1986, it became the Borella branch of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI), a designation it retained until 2016. After a temporary closure of approximately four years, the centre was re-established in 2020 under its current name. Strategically located in Colombo, the nation\u2019s commercial capital, the Borella Regional Centre is proud of its alumni network, which includes over 3,000 skilled professionals who have benefited from the centre\u2019s comprehensive training programs.<\/p>\n
