On May 21, 2025, the Ceylon-German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) hosted a pivotal session with IIYF – Invest In Your Future, focusing on aligning CGTTI students’ potential with global talent requirements.
During the session, CGTTI alumni from Australia, the Middle East, and Sri Lanka shared inspiring success stories, highlighting how CGTTI, IIYF, MMM International, and Fm9 – Integrated Maintenance Services contributed to their professional achievements. Notably, students secured high-remuneration jobs in the Middle East without incurring agency fees, and with benefits like free air tickets and free visas.
Mr. Nalaka Navaratne, Partner at IIYF, commended CGTTI’s dedication to identifying high-caliber candidates amidst Sri Lanka’s challenges. He also outlined strategic directives, including:
• Coordinating activities with Mr. L.S. Perera, excluding media-related tasks managed by Mr. Hasitha Isanka.
• Providing advance updates to the Director–Principal to ensure alignment with CGTTI’s vision.
The collaboration aims to:
• Expand employment opportunities and foster entrepreneurship in Australia.
• Enhance placement success rates in the Middle East.
• Develop strategies for fair remuneration and entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka.
We extend our gratitude to Eng. (Major General) Kalpa Sanjeewa, Director–Principal and the CEO of CGTTI, for facilitating this initiative. This partnership marks a significant step toward equipping our students with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive globally.
