The Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) is pleased to acknowledge a generous and meaningful donation made by the 1994 Passed-Out Batch of the institute, reflecting their enduring commitment to supporting technical education and the development of future professionals.

As part of this contribution, the alumni donated 50 precision Micrometers (0–25 mm) to the institute. These high-accuracy measuring instruments have been carefully distributed among the relevant training departments in accordance with their workshop and laboratory training requirements, ensuring their effective use in day-to-day practical sessions.

Micrometers are essential tools in technical and vocational training, enabling students to perform precise measurements and develop the accuracy required in modern engineering, manufacturing, and automotive industries. The availability of these instruments significantly enhances the quality of hands-on training and supports the institute’s commitment to maintaining high training standards.

This generous donation directly strengthens the practical learning environment at CGTTI, contributing to the development of competent, industry-ready technicians equipped with the skills and precision demanded by today’s technological sectors.

The management, academic staff, and students of CGTTI extend their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the 1994 CGTTI Batch for their valuable support and continued connection with their alma mater. Their thoughtful contribution serves as a strong inspiration to current students and fellow alumni to actively participate in the ongoing development of the institute.

CGTTI deeply values the lasting relationship it shares with its alumni, whose support plays a vital role in sustaining and enhancing the quality of technical education in Sri Lanka.

We thank the 1994 batch for their generosity and for helping shape the next generation of skilled technical professionals.
