In alignment with the national objective of transforming the public service into a more efficient, citizen-friendly, and qualitative sector, a special workshop on positive attitude development under the theme “Let’s Change – Let’s Make a Difference: A Citizen-Centric Public Service” was successfully held on September 23, 2026, at the Main Auditorium of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI).
This significant programme was conducted under the guidance of the Presidential Secretariat, with expert resource contribution from the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) and coordination by the National Integration Division of the Presidential Secretariat.
Significance and Objectives of the Programme
As a premier technical and vocational training institution in Sri Lanka, the competence and caliber of the professionals produced by CGTTI fundamentally depend on the dedication, professional ethics, and mindset of its academic staff. Looking beyond conventional frameworks to foster genuine transformation within public service, the workshop focused on several key areas:
