Organizational Assessment of TVET Institution Management at CGTTI
On 26th March 2025, CGTTI, in partnership with GIZ VTSL and supported by a German expert, conducted a thorough organizational assessment of TVET institution management in Sri Lanka. This assessment aimed to evaluate the current management structures, governance, and operational processes within the institution. The agenda included an institutional overview, a detailed tour of key departments and facilities, and a SWOT analysis with senior management, including principals and department heads.
Furthermore, insights were gathered from trainers through structured interviews to assess leadership effectiveness, communication, and support systems. The data collected will be analysed to provide strategic recommendations for enhancing the quality and efficiency of vocational education and training in Sri Lanka. This initiative is a vital step in strengthening the institutional framework, ensuring that CGTTI remains at the forefront of skill development and innovation in the region.
