On 25th October 2024, we marked a significant moment at CGTTI as we bid farewell to two outstanding individuals whose dedication and service have been integral to our institution’s success.
Mr. H.W.C. Perera, Senior Training Engineer and Sectional Head of the Auto Electrical Section, has been with us for an exceptional 36 years. His technical expertise, unwavering commitment to excellence, and leadership in training future industry professionals have been truly transformative. His contributions have left a lasting legacy within CGTTI and the broader automotive training sector.
Mr. D.D.A.W. Kumara, our Security Officer for 37 years, exemplified dedication and professionalism. His commitment to safeguarding our campus and creating a secure environment has been invaluable, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all members of our community.
Both Mr. Perera and Mr. Kumara have been pillars of CGTTI, and their absence will be deeply felt. Their decades of service reflect not only loyalty but also a passion for their work that has significantly shaped our institution.
It has been an honor to work alongside such exceptional professionals, and we wish them the very best in their well-earned retirement.
