On February 19th, 2025, CGTTI bid farewell to one of our most beloved and respected members, Mr. A.S.A. Goonatilleke, Chief Engineer – Production, Services, and Maintenance (Fulfillment of the Duties). After an extraordinary 40 years of unwavering service, Mr. Goonatilleke has left an indelible mark on the institution and on all those fortunate enough to have worked alongside him.

Mr. Goonatilleke was a mentor, a guide, and an inspiration. His exceptional technical knowledge was matched only by his ability to nurture talent and empower the next generation of professionals.
