We are pleased to announce the highlights of a productive meeting with representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to further our shared vision for renewable energy technology training in Sri Lanka.

In collaboration with the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority and with strong private sector engagement, ADB is working with CGTTI to establish a regional training network—anchored at Kilinochchi as the base centre, and linked with Moratuwa and the proposed new facility in Hambantota. This initiative is a significant step forward in expanding access to Renewable Energy Technology training across three key regions.

Our existing solar training facilities served as a benchmark during the visit, showcasing CGTTI’s capacity and commitment to empowering a skilled green workforce.

Together, we are driving Sri Lanka’s transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
