In celebration of the sacred Poson Full Moon Poya Day, the Automobile Model Training Section of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) proudly organized a Traditional Kadala Dansala, bringing together students and staff in a heartfelt act of generosity and community service.
Inspired by the timeless values of compassion, selfless giving, and unity, this special initiative served freshly prepared boiled chickpeas (Kadala) to Thousands of participants, symbolizing one of Sri Lanka’s most cherished Poson traditions. The event transformed the institute into a place of warmth and fellowship, where every serving reflected the true essence of Dana (giving) and Seva (service).
The enthusiastic involvement of Teachers and students demonstrated the Automobile Model Training Section’s commitment not only to developing technical excellence but also to nurturing social responsibility and humanitarian values. Through teamwork and dedication, the section successfully created a memorable experience that strengthened the bonds within the CGTTI community.
Beyond sharing refreshments, the Kadala Dansala served as a reminder that even the simplest act of kindness can bring people together and inspire a spirit of gratitude, harmony, and mutual respect.
The Ceylon German Technical Training Institute sincerely appreciates the outstanding efforts of the Automobile Model Training Section and extends heartfelt thanks to everyone whose generosity, commitment, and volunteer spirit contributed to the success of this meaningful Poson celebration.
“May the spirit of Poson continue to inspire us to serve with compassion, give with kindness, and grow together as one community.”
