On 6th February 2025, CGTTI had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Kathrin Junken, CEO of Nepal Secretariat of Skills and Training (NSST) , for a productive visit aimed at exploring potential collaborations. NSST is a Nepalese-German initiative dedicated to improving dual vocational training and creating career opportunities for young people in Nepal, with plans to extend their successful model to Sri Lanka.

During her visit, Ms. Junken engaged in insightful discussions with CGTTI’s senior management team, exploring opportunities to adapt NSST’s triple-win approach to Sri Lanka. The aim is to enhance vocational training, create career pathways for youth, and foster stronger ties between Sri Lanka and Germany.

CGTTI is committed to bringing innovative and impactful solutions to Sri Lanka’s vocational training ecosystem. Ms. Junken’s visit has opened the door to exciting new possibilities for collaboration, and we are eager to continue our discussions with NSST to create a brighter future for Sri Lanka’s youth.

We extend our gratitude to Ms. Kathrin Junken for her visit, and we look forward to the next steps in our collaboration. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the skills development landscape, both in Sri Lanka and beyond.
