The academic staff of Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) from the Power Electrical, Millwright, and Renewable Energy with Innovation departments participated in a highly significant Trainer of Trainers program on FANUC Industrial Robots at the Dipped Products PLC factory complex, Kottawa.

This marks Phase One of an ongoing effort to strengthen industry relations, introduce new technologies, and enhance staff expertise to align with future industry needs. The program was expertly organized by the HR Department of Dipped Products PLC, while the Department of Engineering delivered comprehensive training.

A special thank you to the Management of Dipped Products PLC, the Director-Principal (CEO) of CGTTI, the Deputy Chief Engineer (Training) of CGTTI, and the Heads of Departments for their invaluable support in making this initiative a success.

This collaboration is a major step forward in bridging the gap between industry and vocational training, ensuring our academic staff stays at the forefront of emerging technologies in industrial automation!
