In honor of the sacred Vesak festival, the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI) proudly hosted a Vesak bhakti gee singing program on Auditorium today. This meaningful event was held under the visionary concept and guidance of CEO/Director Principal, Eng. Major General P.S. Kalpa Sanjeewa demonstrating the institute’s continued commitment to preserving Sri Lankan cultural and spiritual values.
Students and staff came together in unity and devotion, offering soulful renditions of Buddhist Bhakti Gee that reflected the essence of Vesak – a celebration of the birth, enlightenment, and passing away of Lord Buddha. The atmosphere was filled with peace, reverence, and a sense of community as the CGTTI family joined in this spiritual observance.
This program not only highlighted the musical talents of our students and staff but also fostered a deeper appreciation for mindfulness, compassion, and unity – the very principles that Vesak commemorates.
We thank everyone who contributed to making this event a success and look forward to more such cultural engagements that enrich the lives of our students and the broader community.
Wishing you all a peaceful and meaningful Vesak.
