The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, Ceylon German Technical Training Institute now invites
sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Construction of Prefabricated Steel Building for Renewable
Energy Training Centre (Workshop Building) for Ceylon German Technical Training Institute at Hambanthota.
1. Procurement method is National Competitive Bidding and the contract type is Measure & Pay.
2. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders on the
submission of a written application to the address below from 3rd November,2026 to 16th November,2026 from
9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on working days, and upon payment of a non – refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00 (Rupees
Three Thousand and Five Hundred only) for each document. The method of payment will be in cash at the
CGTTI Accounts division.
3. Eligible bidders shall have Grade EM 03.

5. Bids shall be valid up to 2027.02.16 (91 days).
6. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LKR 300,000.00 which should be in favour of the Director
Principal, Ceylon German Technical Training Institute, obtained from a commercial bank approved by the
Central Bank of Sri Lanka, valid up to 16th March,2027 (119 days). The bid security should be “on demand” and
“unconditional” and in the format given in the bidding document.
7. A pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 8.00 a.m. on 2026.11.10 at the project site, Hambantota, conducted
by the Consultant.
8. Sealed bids shall be deposited in the Tender Box at Account Office, Ceylon German Technical Training Institute,
No 582, Galle Road, (Mount Lavinia), Moratuwa.
9. Bids in two copies indicate in Original & Duplicate, must be delivered to the address below on or before 17th
November ,2026 at 02.00 p.m. and late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened soon after closing of bids at
Ceylon German Technical Training Institute. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present
